Allie recently completed at the National Western Roundup in Fashion Review. Allie won this trip and the eligibility to compete as part of being the top overall winner at the 4-H State Fair Contest this summer in both Sewing Construction and Fashion Review. The Roundup contest was held in Denver January 6-9. The fashion review contest consisted of a 10 minute mini-speech description of each contestants outfit to include new skills learned and anything the contestants wanted the judges to know about their project. In addition contestants had to answer 3-5 questions from a judging panel in a face to face interview. Finally each contestant modeled their project in front of judges and public spectators. Allie competed against competitors from across the nation. The top 5 are given awards. Allie placed 4th overall in the grey wool coat with purple paisley lining she constructed. Allie has become quite an accomplish seamstress over the last several years in 4-H. CONGRATULATIONS ALLIE – we are so PROUD of you!
