Grade 2/3 is exploring forces and spent an afternoon acting as bridge engineers. We learned it’s much harder than it looks to hold weight with a bridge!
Grades K/1 and 2/3 were treated to yummy snacks by Mrs. Miller. We made our own “green egg” and Cat in the Hat hats for Read Across America! Yummy.
To celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday, Grade 2/3 read The Lorax and then took on a STEM challenge to build the tallest Lorax tree possible using some clay, spaghetti noodles, marshmallows and a cotton ball! It was a lot harder than we anticipated!
