Chugwater FBLA students attended Nationals June 28-July 2. Packed with workshops and exhibits, the four-day National Leadership Conference is considered the pinnacle of the FBLA experience. FBLA has forged partnerships with industry leaders to underwrite competitive events and scholarships for students that achieve national ranking. When they aren’t taking tests and/or taking advantage of workshops, they explore the sites.
They went on a walk about looking for history. They saw the San Fernando Cathedral--the final resting place of the hero's of the Alamo. It is also the oldest cathedral church in the USA. Saw some wonderful Spanish influenced architecture--the country court house and the Spanish govenor's home.
They toured the Alamo. Luke was impressed with the cannons--all the different sizes. Nicole thought the church was moving. They all wondered how people of different cultures saw the Alamo.
