WY HISTORY TRUNKChugwater 4th and 5th graders started a unit on Wyoming Plains Indians.  They were able to explore artifacts in a living history trunk on loan from the Wyoming State Museum.  They also invited the 7th grade Wyoming History class down to share in the experience of the trunk.  The 4th and 5th graders shared information they had learned so far about the Native Americans in Wyoming.  In turn, the 7th graders, who had just finished up their Plains Indians Unit shared the extended knowledge they had learned.  4th and 5th graders are extending this activity by researching and presenting facts and information about one of the five Plains Indian groups who made their home in Wyoming. ‚Äč  A Mountain Man Trunk will be arriving in March.
