Chugwater FBLA Middle Level Members Compete at State Conference

Members of Chugwater Middle Level FBLA competed at the Spring Leadership Conference (ML SLC) held February 28, 2023 in Douglas, Wyoming at the State Fairgrounds. Beck and Savannah competed in both objective tests and performance events.  They also participated in workshops, community service projects and team activities. 

Both members received awards at the conference.  Savannah placed 3rd in the Career Exploration test, 3rd in Digital Citizen test, and 3rd place in Exploring Technology test.  She also earned 2nd place for her performance in Career Research presentation.  Beck placed 2nd in the FBLA Concepts test.

Chugwater FBLA Members Compete at State Conference

The Chugwater FBLA Chapter traveled to Laramie to compete at State FBLA Spring Conference held at the UW College of Business March 15-17, 2023.  Members attending were Allie, Dusty, Annie, and Ethan.  Judson competed online.  All members attending the conference competed in performance events— Annie competed in Introduction to Business Presentation, Dusty competed in Introduction to Public Speaking, Ethan and Allie  competed in Job Interview.  Dusty, Annie and Ethan also competed in the open testing competition as well.  During the conference, members participated in workshops and activities including tours of campus.

Awards were presented at the closing session in the UW Arts & Science Auditorium at the end of the conference.  Allie earned 4th place in both Job Interview and Spreadsheet Applications.  Dusty received 1st place in both Real Estate and Social Media Impact in open testing. Ethan received 1st place in Retail Management in open testing also.

The University of Wyoming and especially the College of Business made this year’s conference a very successful and positive experience for all Wyoming FBLA members.
